These unnamed photos have been found in the large leather bound family photo album from Manuka. Do you have any idea who any of them may be? If so, we would be delighted to hear from you to identify any or all of them.
Does A P Smith ring a bell with anyone? He is the person in the photo on the right and we do not have any idea where he fits into the McClymont family.
News Flash !!! Just had an email from Jan Walker ( wife of Ron ) who is a grandson of Samuel the second born. She has confirmed that the photo of the married couple above is a photo of Samuel and his wife at their wedding. Thank you Jan!!
ReplyDeleteSme family think the gentleman in the bottom right was PA Smith -thought to be the Presbyterian minster at Inverall. Judith also says "This rings a bell!"
ReplyDeleteLiz McLaughlin (Grand daughter of Cecil, son of Thomas 1st born) remembers the picture of the little boy on the rockinghorse and thinks it could be Cecil as a child.
ReplyDeleteMac (grandson of Alexander/Mac) thinks that the image of the boy with the football could be Alexander as he was sick as a child and not expected to live. I am told not often were studio photos taken of children. Families who had lots of studio photos were considered wealthy as it was an expensive exercise.
