Well.... things are really moving! We have managed to get word to at least one of almost all decendants of 'the Manuka 14' about this blog site. The emails, family photos and plans to come are actually beginning to happen. Many have said"How exciting this is!"

These should help you decide how long you want to stay for. We purposefully set the day in the middle of the weekend so that you have time to travel to and fro and also arrange any extra socializing with any family members other than on the day. There could be a few of us then!

Why not call a 'relly' who you haven't seen in ages and say you are thinking of coming and encourage them to join us?

Should you want to stay in the actual city centre Coffee House Apartment Motel 07 4927 5722 (with a restaurant attached ) is good.

The Edge Apartment Hotel (07 4936 1000) is a swanky new multi story one on the river front - also with a restuarant.

If you fancy a stay by the sea, Emu Park now has Seaspray Resort 1800 077 768. Emu Park and Yeppoon are each about 45 mins away and Capricorn Resort 1800 075 902 north of Yeppoon is about and hour away.
